Two National Courses Delivered for Mountain Rescue Ireland

The last weekend in April saw Pete and Carl travelling to Dublin to deliver two courses for representatives of member teams of Mountain Rescue Ireland (MRI).

On Saturday it was TCSR's popular and successful Initial Response Search Management course.  There were 39 attendees with all but two MRI teams represented as well as a contingent from PSNI.

On Sunday TCSR's After the Initial Response course was delivered to 23 attendees, most of whom had also been present on Saturday.

TCSR hope this is the beginning of an ongoing arrangement with MRI to deliver a national Search Management training weekend on an annual basis.

A special mention is deserved by Kenny Roberts, MRI Secretary, for all his work behind the scenes in facilitating the weekend, very much 'the swans legs'.
