The Frank Parker Training Library
Frank Parker was an American businessman, outdoorsman and philanthropist who via his good friend, and Associate of The Centre for Search Research, Rick LaValla, left us a legacy upon his death several years ago. In the same philanthropic spirit, The Centre for Search Research has used these funds to develop a training library of resources aimed at training officers and enabling them to deliver training to their own members on the latest thinking and practice in search techniques.
We have further used this legacy to support the training of volunteers by offering a 20% subsidy to any volunteer attending our courses. In Franks memory, we continue to maintain this fund to ensure that volunteer subsidies will always be available.
We thank both Frank and Rick for thinking of us and for their generosity in supporting our work and that of the volunteer.
